Awarded the 2023 Paul DeRuosi Memorial Community Service Scholarship. The award is given each year to a student who exemplifies the commitment to service that Paul DeRuosi championed during his distinguished 31-year career at Fresno State.
Morgan Musser, sophomore, B.S. Kinesiology - Exercise Science
Chosen as the first intern to work in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Valley Children’s Hospital.
Alessandra Quisado, senior, B.S. Nursing
Served as the Communications & Social Media Director for the California Nursing Students Association (CNSA).
Received an externship position in the Emergency Department at Veteran’s Affliated (VA) hospital.
Accepted into the CHHS Honors Program to conduct a needs assessment project on asthma in the Central Valley.

Attended the 2022 Biomedical Engineering Society Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX and presented his research on head acceleration exposure in dirt track motorsports. This research was conducted as part of his internship with the Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Recently inducted into a prestigious international business honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma, at the Craig School of Business.
