    • Recipient of the 2022-23 Smittcamp Family Honors College Student Success Fund.

    • Attended the International Neuropsychological Society’s 51st annual research conference and presented his research on Dementia with Lewy Bodies. Read his response here.

  • Sunshine de Castro, graduating senior, B.A. Theatre Arts - Design/Technology

    • Placed third in the Doug Easton Legacy Archery Championship at Fresno State in the Female Adult Freestyle Compound division.

  • Eduardo Gonzalez, sophomore, B.S. Criminology

  • Joshua Heupel, graduating senior, B.S. Agricultural Business, B.A. Political Science

    • Named as 2023 Dean’s Medalist for the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology.

  • Karlee Hobbs, graduating senior, B.A. Communicative Disorders - Speech-Language Pathology

    • Awarded the 2022 Sheldon ‘Shelly’ Fay Memorial Videography Scholarship from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, San Francisco Chapter, for her documentary, “The Upsides of Downs.”

  • Larry Lam, junior, B.A. Natural Sciences - Physics

    • Admitted to Fresno State’s Robert Noyce Scholarship Program (GOTMath) for mathematics majors.

  • Catherine Laserna, freshman, B.S. Computer Science

  • Lucca Lorenzi, graduating senior, B.A. Mass Communications of Journalism - Public Relations

    • Named as 2023 Dean’s Medalist for the College of Arts and Humanities.

  • Emily Medina-Delgado, freshman, B.A. Liberal Studies

  • Morgan Musser, sophomore, B.S. Kinesiology - Exercise Science

    • Chosen as the first intern to work in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Valley Children’s Hospital.

  • Alessandra Quisado, senior, B.S. Nursing

    • Served as the Communications & Social Media Director for the California Nursing Students Association (CNSA).

    • Received an externship position in the Emergency Department at Veteran’s Affliated (VA) hospital. 

    • Accepted into the CHHS Honors Program to conduct a needs assessment project on asthma in the Central Valley.

  • Camalah Saleh, freshman, B.A. Political Science

    • Awarded the Sheree L. Stone Scholarship, a scholarship under the Department of Communication that is awarded to one deserving undergraduate communications major based on an educational promise and good academic standing.

  • Haley Shah, graduating senior, B.S. Biology

    • Attended the 2023 Western Region Continuums of Service Conference in Honolulu, HI and presented her poster, “Developing Leadership through Community Service: Peer-Guided Professional and Personal Growth for Students at Fresno State,” alongside Shailey Shah. Read more here.

  • Daisy Soto-Hernandez, graduating senior, B.A. Liberal Studies

    • Named as 2023 Dean’s Medalist for the Kremen School of Education and Human Development.

  • Nicholas Tom, graduating senior, B.S. Kinesiology - Exercise Science

    • Recipient of the 2022-23 Smittcamp Family Honors College Student Success Fund.

    • Attended the 2022 Biomedical Engineering Society Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX and presented his research on head acceleration exposure in dirt track motorsports. This research was conducted as part of his internship with the Wake Forest School of Medicine.

  • Juliann Vang, sophomore, B.S. Business Administration - Accountancy

    • Recently inducted into a prestigious international business honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma, at the Craig School of Business.

    • Planned and put together a high school outreach conference for high school students across the Central Valley, promoting higher education after high school.
